I've been missing my other home a lot this past few weeks. That being the reason for this weeks Thursday Tune.

Chris Stapeltons - Parachute.

This just takes me back to South Dakota where I spent my exchange year. Country music was big there and I learned to love it. Now days there isn't a day that I don't listen to country music. Just takes me back to the simple small town life surrounded by fields and fields.

Since it's Thursday again it's time to share my song of the week again. This time it's a cover!

High School Musical was a big part of my childhood. I knew all the songs, the dances and almost all the lines as well. So when I found out Gabriella and Sharpay finally made a duet I was excited. And their voices blend so well together, makes me think why they never had a duet in the movies.

So enjoy!
I've had this on repeat this week!

New In

Both the cardigan and the vest is from Vero Moda and the shirt is from Zara.

How's everyone doing? I've been busy with life this past week but still somehow I had time to go see some sales at the mall. Ended up buying things I wouldn't usually buy. Just because they would be way to expensive. So what I got was a cardigan, a long silky vest and a shirt (which is super soft). Really happy with what I found especially since they where all almost 70% off!

Thursday Tunes

This is part of the new things I've wrote about. So basically every thursday I'm going to share one or two songs that I'm listening to during that week. I will tell now already that my music taste goes from genre to genre, I listen to pretty much anything.

This weeks songs are both by the same artist, Ed Sheeran. Castle On The Hill and Shape of You. It's his newly released singles after his break from music. And I'm glad he took that break because these songs are amazing. His vocals on Castle On The Hill are better than ever.

So if you haven't heard them yet here are the links to both and do yourself a favour and check them out!

In between all the work I had , I managed to have some time for friends. My friend and I went to a adventure park as my birthday gift. Great experience! Also went for a fishing trip with my friends, no fish thou but the weather was nice. Then it was time for our annual Crete trip. In love with that place and love love going back every summer. July was also the month I was finally done with my braces. Thank you but no more dental pain! Wohoo!

August is dads birthday month so it was time to celebrate him. Also this month we did a out of the blue both trip to an island with friends. The evening was so pretty with the sun setting. Also some of my family from Sweden was visiting so got to spend time with them and explore Helsinki.

September was a crazy busy month, but also a special one. I had a new work place and enjoyed being there and also I got my first own car. Super excited about that! A feeling of finally going somewhere in my life since I'm not studying yet. Also my stepmom came back to visit us for a couple of weeks. Always love having here, even thou I had to work during the days we managed to make most of her time here.

If I thought September was busy than I don't even know what October was. Beginning of the month my mom and I travelled to Crete for a week. (I know again!) Then the weekend after that it was back to my friends cottage with my favourite people. Also managed to do a quick road trip with my dear friend. And to top it of all the work I had. Just happy I managed to survive that month.

November was another busy month since I don't have a lot of pictures from the month. We got a bunch of snow during one week and it stayed for the most of the month before melting away. Also went to a car faire as a fathers day gift for my dad. I'll just say that I represented in the 10% of woman that were there, but I did enjoy seeing all the cars. Maybe a bit more the ones I know I'll never afford.

December was full of Christmas parties and endings to things. Also, like every other year, I ended up buying my presents in last minute but I did get the things I wanted so in the end it didn't matter.

Now I'm excited to see what 2017 has to offer. So far so good, had a great New Year with my best friends and today we got some snow so I'm a happy girl right now. Plus I still have one week off before it's back to work.

Crazy to think that another year has passed again by. I decided to do a similar post that I did last year, kind of just wrapping the year up see what really happened during 2016.

Spent New Years at a friends house with fireworks and good company. Also my Brazilian family was still here for a couple of more days. I remember we got a ton of snow in January after having a black Christmas. I was excited, but not doing all the snow work but more playing around it.

February aka the baby month. I had two christenings that I attended during February. That's the reason I call it the baby month. I also stayed up and watched the Super Bowl once again. Other than that it was work that took up most of my time.

In March I was more away from home than home at all. At the beginning of the month my friend and I traveled to London where we spent a couple of nights. That was our first trip together and we are already talking about where we should head next. After I came home, where I was just for a couple of the days, I headed for Brazil to see my dad and stepmom. That was the first time in over 5 years I've been back there. Felt so so good to be back in a country I used to visit once a year when I was younger.

Couple of days after I got home my dad also got back home, felt nice to have him here full time again after 4 months. Also the last day of April I got to wear my graduation hat for the first time since graduation. It's a tradition here.

May was a busy month. From picnics, to weekend at a friends cottage, to getting my top braces off and going to one go the best concerts in my life. It was also the first month of the summer which would be packed with work.

Probably my favourite month since it's my birthday month. This year I turned 21 and decided to step up the get together a little bit whit balloons and punch. Also my best friend and I did a quick day trip to Tallinn. The weather was so nice that day, eating lemon sorbet and walking around. Perfect!
